I will be posting pictures when I get them back from my photographer. The price that I have listed was for 160 guests and included the location (tables, chairs, linens all included!), dinner, desserts, and water & iced tea. Sandy Gummersheimer will attest to that fact. Overall, this venue was beautiful, easy to work with, convenient for guests, and reasonable to boot. Mighty Acorn Farm: Growers Dedicated to Good Food, and Good Health. She just did so much to make sure our day was perfect. Even more, we ran out of my favorite wine during the reception and she went out and bought another bottle of that kind for us! On top of that, she went out and bought my husband a piece of chocolate cake with peanut butter icing because it is his favorite & we weren't able to have it for our cake because of allergies for our guests. Once again this helped to make my day stress free! She was so reassuring and really had everything under control. She acted as our wedding coordinator, telling the DJ when to start various songs for the ceremony, the guys when to walk out, each of my girls when to walk down the isle, etc. Weve been raising good food with natural and sustainable practices since 1969. Lauren, their wedding coordinator, was simply incredible! She went above and beyond what was necessary. Acorn Acres is a local family farm with a small shop in Chesterton, Indiana. Our ceremony was at their outdoor location and our reception was in the big reception hall. That really cut back on my stress level for the rehearsal and on the morning of the wedding. They also allowed us to have the venue for the entire day on Friday so all of my set up was done before the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner. Times to plan our decorations and we had a lot of freedom in decorating.
